Tax, Local Government and Forms

• Never, never, mess with the tax man! He has draconian powers, being able to shut a business down immediately if he cares to. Even a temporary halt can cause huge problems.
• Local government is by nature bureaucratic and very long winded. Put up with it and smile.
• Everything you do, from entering the country, to setting up a business, to exporting goods, requires forms. There are lots of them, often requiring many different official stamps from different departments. No way round this so keep smiling.
